About the OAA

Founded in 1889, the Ontario Association of Architects protects the public interest by regulating the practice of architecture in the province. It licenses Architects and Licensed Technologists, upholds rigorous qualification standards, and supports continuous professional development to help ensure its members create safe, accessible, and functional buildings that meet the needs of sustainable, vibrant, and resilient communities.
