The following blOAAg post is an entry in the popular annual series, Summer Sketches. Click here to see more.
“The Lines We Draw” is a sketching class that has taken place during the last few editions of the OAA Conference. It gives architects the opportunity to use hand drawing/sketching exercises, review sketching techniques, learn how to sketch to communicate with clients, and capture the essence of building design.
The most recent edition was held in Ottawa as part of the Reshaping Communities event. It was a four-hour session led by Architect Paul Backewich. The images below show the work of some of the participating OAA members, who sketched in downtown Ottawa, close to the Rideau Canal.
