Twice a year, the OAA’s Public Awareness Sponsorship program distributes funding to help applicants carry out projects or events that fulfil the
Architects Act’s object of “promoting public appreciation of architecture and the allied arts and sciences.”
The Association’s Communications Committee agreed to fund the following initiatives:
• Urban Minds’
1UP Youth City Builders Program;
•
Urban Fabric Media’s
Accessing the City documentary on persons with disabilities;
•
Beneath the City: Rivers–Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism entry;
•
DesignTO’s Holding Up History tour;
•
Kosmic Arcade at the Azrieli School of Architecture & Urbanism;
• Canadian Centre for Mindful Habitats’
Mindful Modernism(s) webinar series and associated publication; and
• Tiny House Design Challenge at Calvin Park Public School (Kingston).
