Architect Shares Insight on Toronto Coach Terminal

Normally packed with travelers heading home for the holidays, the Toronto Coach Terminal was quiet on its 90th anniversary last month.

What was originally called the Gray Coach Terminal, the building, near the corner of Bay and Dundas Streets, opened to great fanfare on Dec. 19, 1931. Toronto Mayor William James Stewart even purchased the first ticket — a return trip to Hamilton.
