Until May 19, you can take advantage of special pricing by booking accommodations as part of the OAA’s room blocks at host hotels Holiday Inn Sudbury and Travelway Inn. About 3.5 and 4.5 hours from Toronto and Ottawa, respectively, Sudbury is “closer than you think.” This year, there are also travel discounts with Air Canada, Bearskin, and Hertz Car Rental.

 For those in the Toronto area wanting a cost-effective, stress-free way to get to the OAA Conference, a special OAA shuttle bus will be running roundtrip from Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre to Sudbury. A convenient, economic, and environmentally conscious option, the bus will leave the Toronto mall (which has multiple transit connections) on Tuesday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. for the approximately 3.5-hour drive—in time for the Sudbury Kitchen Party for those who have registered. The shuttle bus has luggage accommodations and an on-board restroom. It returns to Yorkdale on Friday, June 23 at approximately 8:30 pm. The cost will be $120 + HST, and you can secure your space when Conference registration opens on April 18.
