Candidates for OAA Council Elections Announced

Ballots Coming November 10

Nominations to fill the upcoming vacancies on the OAA’s governing Council for the 2026–2028 term have now closed. Ballots will be emailed to eligible voters on November 10, with voting ending on November 24.

For the two Central Ontario seats, Loloa Alkasawat and Thomas Yeung will be acclaimed.

For the City of Toronto seat, three members are running:

 

  • Andrew Chau;

  • James Lipson; and

  • Marek Zawadzki.


For the Western Ontario seat, the two candidates are:

  • Walter Derhak; and

  • Settimo Vilardi.


For the Province of Ontario seat, those running are:

  • Nasr Chamma;

  • Allan Killin;

  • Natasha Krickhan;

  • Clayton Payer; and

  • Kunal Rakshit.


For the Limited Licence Holder seat, the following Licensed Technologists are running:

  • Francis Guanlao;

  • Richard Mateljan; and

  • Nicola Russo.
