pride toronto
With June designated as Pride Month
across Ontario
and around the world, the OAA embraces
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
for those who are LGBTQ2S+ in the architecture profession and the broader society it serves. In particular, the
Toronto Society of Architects
will be celebrating and remembering “Built Proud” queer spaces past and present at the
Pride Toronto
parade. It is hosting a low-mess build day for its float on
June 18
at Toronto Metro University’s Department of Architectural Sciences (DAS) and looking for volunteers to help with cutting, light painting, and gluing.
Contact the TSA
for more information. The Society will also have its
Pride TSA playlist
with free-to-stream content about queerness and its spatial expression. It also includes a link to our recording of our IDEAS forum on queer space in Toronto.
