The SHIFT2023 Health & Architecture Challenge asks OAA members, as well as those on the path to licensure, to explore the role the architecture profession plays in supporting human health, happiness, and wellbeing in Ontario and beyond.

Until Monday, January 16, you can submit project ideas—including text, visuals, and video—showing how architectural thinking can advance insight and innovation. While submissions are welcome from teams of varied skills and professional backgrounds, the team leader must have status with the OAA.

Our panel of jurors will participate in a special Jury Day next month to choose the projects best exemplifying the spirit of this biennial, aspirational awards program. These selections will be featured at the OAA Conference in Sudbury, and highlighted in special events and publications later this year.
