Live Nation Releases Renderings of New Waterfront Venue Proposed for Ontario Place

On Oct. 28, Live Nation Canada released renderings for its planned waterfront concert venue, which will be situated at Ontario Place alongside the contested waterpark and spa by Therme Canada, the relocated Ontario Science Centre, and a provincially-owned 3,500-spot, 5-storey parkade.

The venue will be renamed from the Budweiser Stage to the RBC Amphitheatre, and will transform into an expanded year-round venue by 2030. The project is being designed by PARTISANS + Gensler in collaboration.

Following its transformation into a year-round venue with enhanced indoor and outdoor capabilities, RBC Amphitheatre is set to increase its show count, and host over 1.5 million fans annuall
