Cenera, an independent consulting firm with extensive experience in compensation benchmarking, has launched a total compensation survey for Canadian architecture and multi-disciplinary design firms
This employer-reported survey is designed to complement and expand on existing member-reported data by producing deeper compensation insights for roles in landscape architecture (and technology), urban design and planning, and sustainability consulting and building performance. One of the goals is to provide meaningful insights for firms navigating talent retention, pay equity, and market competitiveness.
DIALOG is sponsoring the survey, but will not receive any raw or identifiable data—it will receive insights in the same way as all other participating firms
Cenera will manage data collection and analysis in strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy legislation. It will analyze the data, with a complimentary results report produced in January 2026 to serve as a pulse check on current industry practices, with reference to both position title and position summaries by level and geography.
There is no cost to participate. Contact
kellie.donohue@cenera.ca to request a survey link. It is best-completed by a practice’s HR, finance, or payroll leaders, or alternatively the most appropriate senior representative of the firm. It will remain open until
December 5, 2025.
