On October 28, lawyers Andrea Lee and Patricia Joseph of Glaholt Bowles will present “Best Practices for Contract Administration and Adjudication” to explore the Construction Act, including the new prompt payment rules and how they affect an OAA member’s obligations to administer the construction contract on the client’s behalf. Attendees will also learn about statutory adjudication and its impacts on their duty to interpret contract documents and make decisions, as well as the new Ontario Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contract (ODACC) process for adjudication.

The event is part of the OAA Continuing Education Webinar Series, which has live closed-captioning and was created to expand learning opportunities to help Architects and Licensed Technologists OAA meet their ConEd Program requirements.
